ASTRID was set up by Lynne Baillie in 2009. Inspired by the fashion of LA hipsters (Lynne spent 2 months in Los Angeles in 2008) and her love of design and making, Lynne noticed a gap in the market for some good quality, fashionable hair accessories in Ireland and decided to see what would happen when she put her mind (and hands!) to it.

	Bloomsday Festival comes to Temple Bar this June This year, the James Joyce Centre’s Bloomsday Festival celebrates Joyce’s epic ‘Ulysses’ from 12th –16th June at venues across the city. 	Top class cycling racing to Temple Bar on 19th June On Saturday 19th June, a top class professional cycling racing is set to celebrate Dublin as European Capital of Sport in 2010.
