Dark River Pool: Views of Dublin City - Designer Mart at Cow's Lane art exhibition now launched in Temple Bar's Old City

A group of 14 visual artists, from Designer Mart at Cow’s Lane, Old City Temple Bar, will showcase specially commissioned artworks for a visual arts exhibition named Dark River Pool: Views of Dublin City, which was launched at Smock Alley Café last Wednesday June 4th by well-known Dublin historian, author and artist, Pat Liddy.

Tale Town – A magical place only reached by the ‘Spirit of Adventures’ arrives in Temple Bar this July

Tale Town in association with the Gaiety School of Acting will come to Meeting House Square, Temple Bar for 3 Fridays this July – July 4th, 11th and 18th. This is a one week creative course for children and young people aged between 7 and 19 involving a series of artistic workshops which will run at the Gaiety School of Acting from June 30th-July 4th, July 7th-11th, and July 14th-18th'.

RADE Art Exhibition at the Temple Bar Cultural Information Centre

RADE (Recovery through Arts, Drama and Education) will take their colourful art exhibition to the Temple Bar Cultural Information Centre at 12 East Essex Street this July from the 7th – 11th. The inspiration for this years artists is Irish mythology. Each artist has interpreted characters and sumbols from the Táin Bó Cúailgne of the Ulster cycle of Irish myths.

Temple Bar Gallery and Studios will hold a series of workshops in tandem with their exhibition programme this June. Aimed at children between the age of 6-8 and 8-12 these 2 day family-orientated workshops will place the participants in the heart of creativity and help them to develop their senses of observation, inventions and autonomy.
